This energy saving dock seal creates a weather-tight enclosure between loading dock and truck, protecting workers and merchandise from the elements. As trailer backs towards building, it compresses the seal to form an extra tight closure. When truck leaves, the foam seal regains its original shape. Easy to install on buildings with flush dock face and level approaches. 12"W x 12"D Dock seal is made of 10"D x 12"W polyfoam secured to a 2" thick seasoned wood plank, seal is wrapped with 44-oz. vinyl material. Supplied with steel mounting brackets. Seal should only be compressed 6" and used with 6" deep dock bumpers. Heavy duty dock seal has a 40-oz. vinyl wear plates every 4" on top of the 44-oz. vinyl to reduce abrasion to the front face of seal. Black.
